This stuff is irrelevant. This stuff has nothing to do with the main point or the purpose of the meeting. This is a distraction.
This code would be frequently used if people had the courage. Faced with this code the speaker needs to show why the material is in fact relevant to the meeting. There might be a high relevance which is not obvious. If so, the speaker needs to make it obvious. Although this code is intended to be used in a presentation, it could equally well be used during the general conversation of a meeting to indicate that the whole meeting had gone off track. If one person uses code 9/10 it is significant; if many participants come to show code 9/10 on their cards it becomes serious.
