6/8
Things are becoming too emotional. I suggest we take a break. We can discuss the matter later in a calmer atmosphere.
It is not so much an accusation that the other party has become too emotional as an admission that the "situation" is becoming too driven by emotion. The suggestion is for a postponement of the matter. The matter is indeed to be discussed, but at a later date. There is some overlap with 6/3 in the sense that a future discussion is promised. The emphasis, however, is on the emotional aspects which would prevent a reasoned consideration of the matter. It is important to accept that the code is not an "accusation" ( even where this might be justified) but an acknowledgement that an emotional atmosphere is making the situation more difficult.
