With regard to your suggestion of a meeting, please supply a written agenda, Please let me know why you want this meeting ?
There does not always need to be a specific reason for a meeting. The meeting can be semi-social. If so, this can be stated. The reason why the recipient of the suggestion to meet should agree to that meeting needs to be suggested: "I want to tell you about my experiences in teaching thinking to very young children." Where there is a specific reason for the meeting it should be spelled out. If the reason is good this may increase the possibility of the meeting taking place. There are always some "crazies" who want a meeting for no particular reason. Someone who wants your time and attention should indicate the reason for the request.
