I could be interested in what you have suggested but I would need much more information, especially the benifits.
Specific questions may then be posed. These need to be as focused as possible. It is best to cover all areas at the beginning rather than keep on going to and fro for further information. "I am interested. But convince me that I should take it further." The person sending the communication is given the task of showing why the matter should be pursued further. In some cases it may even be dangerous to show this slight amount of interest. This may be followed by an avalanche of information, phone calls, e-mails, etc. So code 5/6 should never be used simply out of politeness. Unless the " interest" is genuine it may be best not to show any interest at all
