Some problems can be solved by finding and then removing the cause of the problem. In other cases you may need to design a way forward, leaving the problem in place. Even where there are no problems as such, there may be a need to design a way forward if this is not obvious. Designing a way forward may also apply to negotiations-as will be seen in the negotiation code. Designing is a matter of putting together what we have in order to achieve what we want. This design request may be made at the beginning of the project with a need to design an action plan.
