People grow up at different rates. People develop in different directions. What makes sense at one time in life may not make sense at another time
No one is to blame. It may be possible to carry on. And in some situtations this may be the best course of action. In other cases, life may offer more than an inadequate relationship.

Changes in people are almost always irreversible. It becomes a matter of adjusting to the changes or walking away.

Code 14/3 acknowledges the changes and suggests it is time to walk away. Individuals may choose, instead, to stay and to adjust. The balance of feelings between the two partners will decide what happens. The code does not suggest a strategy. It is merely a summary of a situation.
