I have no hidden agenda or dark intentions. I like you and want to know you better. I want the relationship to develope.
This is an acceptance of whatever may develop. There is the basis of 'liking' and from that many types of relationship may grow. The reassurance aspect of disclaiming any hidden agenda maybe unnecessary because it could easily be stated even if there were hidden agendas. It can be believed or not, as with ordinary conversation. There is value in it with regard to future reference: 'I thought you had no hidden agenda'
