This is a direct request for clarification. The matter that needs to be clarified has to be stated very clearly. Obviously clarification and explanation overlap considerably. 1/6 is not asking for the reasons behind something (which is what 1/5 does) but is a request that the matter be made intelligible. 1/6 the new pension plan contributions. 1/6 the role of the "innovations office". 1/6 what you want me to about the mortgage. 1/6 why it is important to have a tattoo. 1/6 how I can order the specific product I want. 1/6 how I can do my banking over the net. Wherever there is ignorance, confusion, doubt and uncertainty the 1/6 code has a place. As before, the use of 1/6 does not shut out he use of normal language. The code can simply be an addition to the language - to emphasize the nature of the communication.
